I would have used "plain Jane" but my mom hates that. So here a few months ago I "rescued" a truck (see previous blog - We've adopted!). It stayed the way the previous owner had it for probably just a few days before I started changing it. I wanted a no frills truck. I kicked around a few ideas with my buddy Randy and soon decided to repaint it what I have come to call "header white". If anyone is familiar with exhaust headers you get the picture. I have also replaced the old black vinyl interior with a factory gray pieces and a rubber floormat. New wheels and tires have already been posted previously. I am still re-assembling the truck, but here is a quick sketch of my vision:
That's me, I'm him...

- DISCLAIMER: Although I am a car guy this is not solely a car blog. I will talk cars, but this is also a blog about how I view the world. Just ask my mom and she will tell you my first word was "car". I do have a slight fascination with them. Luckily I have a supportive family and a very understanding wife...

Being a "Janie," I'm with your mom--no "plain jane"! hehe.....Nice sketch, btw.
You have never been “plain” though – you are always “zaney”!
